NOTES/GUIDELINES

Date Available is the date that a version or rendition of a digital asset is officially unavailable for publication, broadcast or distribution. A specific time may also be associated but is not required..

Format:

Follow ISO 8601 for format (YYYY-MM-DD).

Year (YYYY): 0000 to 9999.
Month (MM): 01 to 12.
Day (DD): 01 to 28, 29, 30 or 31 as applicable.

The separator between date fields is a hyphen, (-).

If the full date is unknown, month and year (YYYY-MM) or just year (YYYY) may be used.

If a date is approximate, add a question mark, leaving a space between the year and the question mark: 1922 ? .
